Restaurant
A cuisine of emotions
La Table du Château brings together tradition and creativity in its superb fireplace lounge with breathtaking views over the château’s English-style parkland.
With its refined gastronomy inspired by the French terroirs, fine produce and bold gourmet flair, the restaurant at the Domaine d’Ermenonville offers a cuisine bursting with flavour and emotion.

History and famous figures: an age-old saga
Since the Middle Ages, the saga of the Château d’Ermenonville has been one of resilience, glory and reversals of fortune. Built in 987, complete with moat and drawbridge, the building was burnt down, restored and extensively transformed, adopting the architectural styles of the Age of Enlightenment. Its English-style parkland attracted the admiration of the whole of Europe.
As the residence of King Henri IV, Swiss philosopher and writer, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, erstwhile property of lords, marquises and princes, and the setting for the French comedy film, Les Visiteurs, the Château d’Ermenonville is testament to a fierce determination to celebrate life. Now a boutique hotel, its history is at the very core of its identity.
